Nippon Steel Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd. officially puts into operation a factory in Phu My 2 Industrial Zone Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, September 23, 2011 – Today, Nippon Steel Pipe Vietnam Co., Ltd. (NPV) officially inaugurates and commissions its NPV plant in Phu My 2 Industrial Zone in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.

Attending the ceremony are representatives of the Government Office, the Ministry of Transportation, University of Transportation and Communication, Consulate General of Japan in HCMC, the leaders of Nippon Steel Corporation and Vietnam Steel Corporation, Consulting and Designing companies, Trading Companies and about 230 guests. NPV factory covers 100,000 square meters and specializes in producing steel pipe piles, steel pipe sheet piles…

The plant has 100 workers and is able to churn out 5,000 tons per month. With the most state-of-the-art production line, NPV’s products have competitive advantages. Particularly, NPV’s steel pipe piles and steel pipe sheet piles are suitable for use in building foundation, bridge foundation, harbor structure thanks to their high durability, high reliability of structure, big bearing capacity for infrastructure, suitable with weak geological areas, ability of earthquakes areasmeeting the strictest technical criteria, and maneuverability, which help reduce foundation sizes and shortening construction time.

Mr. Kenichi Kanezaki, NPV general director, said that the company pays close attention to the domestic market, but it still exports part of its products to Southeast Asian countries and Australia. “Through the production of steel pipe piles, steel pipe sheet piles, etc. of international standards, NPV hopes to contribute its part to the development of Vietnam’s economy in general and the construction sector in particular, as well as to improving people’s living standards.

NPV will try to be a supplier of reliable products of international standards, and keep renovating technology in order to bring the highest value to customers and partners. In addition, NPV also hopes to take part in high-tech human resource training for society and look forward to becoming a dynamic company,” Mr. Kenichi Kanezaki said.
